The main source of fluoride in the wastewater of this enterprise is coal gasification wastewater, the average fluoride ion is about 80 mg/L, and the fluoride index of the effluent from the regulation tank is 15-35 mg/L. Wastewater treatment system includes pretreatment, biochemical treatment, physicochemical treatment, reclaimed water treatment and so on.
ONCE proposed a personalized solution for the on-site process: adding customized fluoride removal agents in two steps in the pretreatment and physicochemical treatment process, so as to achieve the treatment requirements of fluoride below 1 mg/L. Enable enterprises to meet fluoride emission standards with a lower cost of water treatment per ton on the premise of no infrastructure investment.
The dosing scheme for on-site operation is shown in the following table:
Table 2 Dosage plan of defluorinator in field operation
Order of reaction | Dosing point | Influent fluoride mg/L | Dosage PPM | Effluent fluoride mg/L |
Primary dosing | preconditioning | 15-35 | 500-1500 | < 1 |
Secondary dosing | Physicochemical treatment | 300 |
